For just the price of an email address, you can download and try out Paragon's product for 30 days, but the free trial version doesn't include the Paragon Recovery Media Builder utility. Paragon Backup & Recovery's $39.95 list price is a bit lower than that of NTI Backup Now, which costs $69.99 (but is often offered at significant discount), and Genie Timeline Home, which is $49.95. With the improvements in performance and usability, Paragon has pulled off a major turnaround for Backup & Recover, which I now recommend, though it's not yet at the Editors' Choice level.
